UK to open new visa application centers in China

UK is to increase the number of visa application centers in China in response to an anticipated record demand this year.

The three new centers aim to improve the visa service's geographical presence and make it accessible to as many Chinese citizens as possible.

The launch dates and locations of the three newly opened centers are:

10 June: Xi'an - Room 1103, Building A, Mole Collection Centers, Cross Road of Keji 6th Road and Fenghui South Road, High-tech zone, Xi'an city, Shaanxi province.

15 June: Kunming - 1502B, Building 5, Xindulongcheng, No 1079 Beijing Road, Kunming city, Yunnan province.

1 July: Changsha - No 1-3 Conference Room, 2/F, White Swan Hotel, No 258, Xiangfu Zhong Road, Tianxin district, Changsha city, Hunan province.

Wremen

If you ask around where Wremen is located, probably many Germans will shake their heads. Wremen is a small place, but nice and calm (not in summer, I guess). I went there in early spring, still a bit cold yet you can still walk along the beach, enjoy the sunlight and breathe the fresh air, or simply doing nothing but sitting there for hours.

Local food, especially seefood, is definately recommendable, but before a big dinner and a bundle of beer, a short tour by bike is highly considerable. Just ride aimlessly in the area or to neighbouring villages, you won’t regret it.
